During starting the UPC4 and during starting initialisation, the first character is “*”, the final char

acter is

“i”.

After a time period the first character is “.”, the

final character is “I”. This indicates a successful

initialisation.

5.4 Control function

UPC4 functions which are enabled can be executed in this menu block.

Control function:

 Battery Test

: Start/stop battery test, deleting of battery test failures.*

 Data memory: Manual st
